Should you arrive by car, please indicate this in the registration form including the estimated arrival & departure times. The Local Organising Committee (LOC) will arrange your parking spot in the private car park of Hotel Corinthia (1074 Budapest, Hársfa u. 53).

If you are a delegate from a country inside the schengen zone, you will not need a VISA or passport to enter Hungary, only your ID card. For other countries, please check the list on the official website of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Hungary: Should you need a VISA, a VISA or invitation letter from the LOC, please indicate this when completing the registration form so that we can provide assistance by issuing these documents.

1. Airport transfers / transfers from the railway station: how do I get picked up at the airport / railway station – and dropped off before my departure flight / train?

When registering for the 83rd AIPS Congress Budapest, you will have to provide all your flight / train arrival and departure details. According to the provided information, the LOC is arranging your pick-up and drop-off by the event shuttle service.

Arrivals: On February 3rd (Monday) – the main day for arrivals – there will be a welcome desk with volunteers welcoming you at the airport terminal and guiding you to your shuttle bus. On all other days (and for all arrivals by train), your driver will provide an individual welcome service at the terminal / train station.

Departures: before your departure transfer, all delegates are going to be picked up in the lobby of Hotel Corinthia (if not indicated otherwise). The delegates’ departure schedule is going to be displayed at the 83rd AIPS Congress Budapest Info desk in the main lobby of Hotel Corinthia.

We advise you NOT to exchange money at the airport because you will find better exchange rates in one of the many money exchange offices in the centre of Budapest (the closest exchange office to Hotel Corinthia: Exclusive Change, Erzsébet körút 51 – located 50 meters from the hotel). Major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard) are accepted in most shops & restaurants, also in taxis.
5. How to extend my stay in Budapest?
If you wish to extend your stay in Budapest for touristic / private reasons, please note that you will have to make your own arrangements to book your accommodation for the additional days. We are glad to inform you that your extended stay (+3 nights prior to and after the Congress is being held) in Hotel Corinthia will be charged at a special price that we managed to negotiate. In case of considering a longer stay in Budapest, please do request information when registering!

The LOC is providing airport transfers during the official period of the 83rd AIPS Congress Budapest between February 3rd-6th, delegate transfers are not going to be provided on other days.
